Prevent potential future risks

Routine medicals provide an overview of your current health status and medical needs, while highlighting any health-related issues for the future.

They offer valuable opportunities to screen for health problems at an early stage, to address any particular health concerns and to consider general health issues, risk factors, and lifestyle.

They also give an important indication of whether known health issues are improving, staying the same or getting worse and require intervention.

When it comes to disease, prevention is much easier than cure. The sooner a we know about a health issue, the easier it becomes to resolve or reverse it.

The travel nurse was lovely and very efficient with giving me vaccines. She even took the time to nurse a wound I had whilst I was there. Really great care.

Dr Cave always delivers a compelling and thorough medical examination whilst retaining a good sense of humour and a reassuring manner. You could do no better than the Fleet Street Clinic for your MOT.

Fleet Street were excellent. Saw me at short notice and provided a good diagnosis of my condition. Their prescriptions were on the money because my infected ear began to clear up soon afterwards.

After I was let down with little notice by another pharmacy, I called Fleet Street Clinic and was booked in for the next day for my remaining travel jabs. Staff were very welcoming, professional and efficient. I had a great experience and would highly recommend using their travel vaccination services. The prices are very competitive and they had stock of the rabies vaccine when it was out of stock elsewhere!

Have had all my work travel vaccines at FSC and they have always been exemplary. Easy to book appointments, pleasant reception staff (both over email and phone) and appointment times to suit me. Never been kept waiting past my time and quick/easy vaccines done. Highly recommend.

We booked, we arrived and we had our vaccines. Everything as expected. What really stood out was the level of medical advice from the nurse giving us our injections. It was explained very clearly to us to the level of protection our vaccine would give. As this was a new vaccine the results of medical trials were also highlighted. There was no push to sell more products, just clear advice on what to avoid and what to do to prepare for our trip to the Far East.

On repeated occasions over the last year, I have received A1 treatment from the Fleet Street Clinic. Short-notice appointments, face to face and on the phone, for emergency conditions and quick prescriptions from excellent doctors have helped me enormously. The Reception Team are also highly professional. I couldn't recommend it more strongly.

Easy to book appointments. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Becky, the nurse who has given me my Rabies jabs is a delight. I’m happy to have all my vaccines at Fleet Street.

    FAQS

The appointment length is determined by the medical booked. This varies from 15 minutes to 3 hours. Our Vital medical is 15 minutes with a nurse, our Essential medical is 1 hour with a GP, our Executive medical is 1.5 hours with a GP and our Executive + medical is 3hours with a GP.

Medical examinations that include a cervical screen cannot be done when you are on your period. This affects Executive medicals and Executive + medicals. Please rebook your appointment by calling +44 20 7353 5678 or email info@fleetstreetclinic.com – we will not charge you for postponing your appointment. Vital medicals and Essential medicals can be booked when you are on your period.

Yes. You can easily change or cancel your appointment from your appointment confirmation email. Alternatively, you can also call us on +44 20 7353 5678 or email info@fleetstreetclinic.com. Please note that we need 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations.  Any appointment cancelled after this time may incur a 50% cancellation charge.

You will usually get your results within 4 working days. Our GP will email you your results so please ensure you provide the correct email address when booking your appointment.

You can review the contents of all our medicals online by clicking here. Take the time to access what is included in each of the medicals before deciding which one is appropriate for your needs.
If you are seeking more guidance before booking, consider a 15 min GP appointment beforehand. You can discuss the different medicals with your GP and decide which one would be most suitable for you.

Yes. If you have certain criteria that your medical needs to fulfil for work, travel or visa purposes, we can create a bespoke medical tailored to those requirements. Please send us an enquiry outlining your requirements and we can provide a quote and next available dates.

Each of our medical examinations are overseen by qualified GPs, and  include a personalised doctor’s report detailing findings and providing guidance on post-examination care.
The exception to this is the Vital medical which is undertaken by a nurse. The  results are delivered during the appointment, allowing for comprehensive discussions with the nurse regarding any necessary aftercare advice or additional testing.
Rest assured; we are here to assist you every step of the way.

At Fleet St. Clinic, we provide a seamless customer experience, from booking to your results. Our medicals are designed to cater to your individual needs.  Whether you need a quick medical check or you’re interested in a comprehensive review of your whole body, we have something for everyone. Our team of expert doctors and nurses will provide you with the best possible guidance and care.

Yes. Medical examinations serve a broader purpose beyond diagnosing illnesses and play a critical role in monitoring existing health conditions. For example, our Vital medical proves invaluable in tracking diabetes management. Our comprehensive Essential medicals include a thorough medical history review and an assessment of risk factors.

Even if you are fit and healthy, there are numerous health benefits to getting a regular medical exam. Regular medical assessments can aid in the early identification of potential health issues, making them more treatable and helping to prevent more severe health complications in the future. They also provide a comprehensive overview of your current health, and your doctor can provide you with personalised advice and care based on your individual needs.

Whilst we advise an annual medical examination, you have the option to consult with our nurses and doctors at your discretion if you prefer a different frequency. They may suggest attending a yearly appointment, however the decision on the frequency of your medical check-up ultimately rests with you.

It would be preferred if you were able to attend either your ‘Executive Medical’ or your ‘Standard Medical’ having fasted. This involves having small amounts of water (black tea is allowed) for a minimum of 8 hours before your appointment. This is so we retrieve the most accurate results, rather than getting abnormal results which would require further testing.

    For example:

    • A medical at 9 am: Avoid food before your appointment.
    • A medical at 3pm: please only have a very small breakfast, and fast afterwards.
    • This applies to both male and female medicals.

Yes, you have full control over who you see when you book a medical with us. All our medicals, excluding bespoke medicals, can be booked online and you can choose the gender of your doctor.

If you are booking over the phone or by email, you can ask the receptionist directly who you would prefer to be seen by.

We are conscientious that some of our patients or their close family members are deemed clinically vulnerable. Therefore, all our staff are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 for your protection and peace of mind.
