Johanna Bosowski studied nursing at the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery (King’s College London). She has a BA(Hons) in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and an MSc in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). She also has a Diploma in Tropical Nursing from LSHTM.
Johanna’s background is in Paediatric Emergency Nursing and after several years in this speciality, Johanna moved into humanitarian nursing. She worked for Save the Children in Sierra Leone during the Ebola epidemic and then joined Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) with whom she worked in South Sudan and Guinea Bissau.
Johanna has a keen interest in travel. As well as the countries listed above she has also lived in Paraguay, India and Uzbekistan and has enjoyed visiting many more.
