Wellness Medicals

An annual medical highlights many health concerns and are a great way to get an overview of your current health.

They are a great staff benefit for your employee’s and when conducted annually, can offer a complete head-to-toe picture of whether their health is staying the same, improving or deteriorating. It may be able to highlight lifestyle choices which are impacting their health and can highlight early disease which can be addressed without delay or disruption.

Medicals are largely preventative and when it comes to health, prevention is much easier than curing. Knowing and understanding your current health is essential for your wellbeing. If your employee is unaware of a health issue and it progresses, they are more likely to suffer emotional distress, take time off for more invasive treatments and this not only affects them but can affect your whole company.

Opting to protect and invest in your employees healthcare is one of the most important benefits to include within company packages, especially for those in senior positions. Employees want to know their health is a priority of your company.

Corporate medicals do become more important for corporates with an older workforce and/ or senior employees who require medicals for insurance purposes. Many company directors are often required to have an annual medical in order to remain in their position. It can also be beneficial from a financial perspective, as proof of healthy senior employees can reduce your insurance premium in some cases.

Any position in a corporate that is deemed highly stressful roles should also consider investing in an annual medical for their employees. It is widely known that constant high stress levels have a negative impact on your physical and mental health. In today’s society it is the biggest contributor to illnesses and poor mental health.

We offer our annual medicals as a standalone service or in conjunction to other, smaller health screens throughout the year. All our wellness medicals are with one of our highly experienced doctors and can either take place at our London Clinic or we can bring the service onsite to your place of work. Depending on the level of investigation, we have a standard, comprehensive and even bespoke medicals to choose between.

It is important to communicate which extra tests you would like and we can liaise with our doctors to see if they are suitable. If they’re not, we will let you know. Having tests for the sake of having a test is not always the most effective use of your healthcare budget.

How can I arrange wellness medicals for my employees?

You can make an inquiry using the form below which will put you in contact with one of our corporate businesses.

We will need to know which medical you are interested in, if you plan to conduct testing at Fleet Street Clinic or onsite, where you are located and for how many staff members. We will provide you with suitable options and a quote.

Which employees might benefit from a wellness medical?

Any of your employees would benefit from a wellness medical.

They are a great way to check the health status of any individual regardless of age or job title. However, in our experience, wellness medicals are particularly popular for senior level employees. This is because senior members of staff are usually older, require an annual medical for insurance purposes and/or their absence from the company usually has a greater impact on the company. An annual medical would highlight anything concerning that could require further investigation.

Who will see the results of the wellness medicals?

This is a completely confidential service and only the employee and the doctor will have access to their results.

If your employee chooses to share their results with you, then that is completely up to them. It is not a legal requirement for us to share their personal information.
