Emigrating or planning to work abroad? Many countries require a medical check-up as part of their visa application process. At the Fleet Street Clinic, we offer a wide range of visa medicals tailored to the requirements of the country you are going to.

What does the visa medical involve?
Visa medical requirements vary.
Visa medical requirements vary according to the country you are going to, but each medical typically involves a 45 minute appointment, although we advise allowing 1 hour in case a more in depth discussion is required.
When should I have the visa medical?
As soon as you begin the visa process you should speak with us to arrange your medical.
We can accommodate most timescales before you leave and will try to fit the appointment in at your earliest convenience.
How long does it take to get the results for my visa medical?
We will confirm the exact time scale during your appointment.
Most lab results will be returned in 3 – 5 days though the process can always be accelerated in an emergency.

What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?
Please also bring all relevant visa documentation, reports regarding previous and current medical conditions and medications.
Please note: you must bring your passport when you attend – we cannot commence the visa medical without it. A passport is the only form of identification that we can accept for this type of medical.
What if I need travel vaccinations?
If you know you will need some travel vaccinations, you can let us know when booking your VISA medical and we will book you a separate travel consultation.
We are able to deliver vaccinations during this appointment if required, however, second doses and booster vaccinations may be required prior to travel. We can also book this appointment at a later date if you would prefer.
Do you do Covid-19 testing for travel?
Yes, our Covid-19 PCR testing is approved for International travel purposes.
Only a small number of countries require this but we are happy to help, and have our own fully approved Covid PCR lab on site at our clinic.
