We’re delighted to share that our Clinical Director and co-founder, Dr. Richard Dawood, has been awarded a fellowship in recognition to his outstanding contribution to Travel Medicine.
Dr. Dawood has played a key role in shaping Travel Medicine into the modern clinical specialty it is today. Since founding Fleet Street Clinic with his wife, Gillian, in 1995, he has dedicated his career to improving the health and safety of those who travel (often in high-risk, high-pressure environments).
Dr. Dawood has cared for frequent international travellers from across the globe, including journalists, humanitarian workers, business professionals and those in the entertainment industries, as well as families and individuals navigating complex travel plans.
His widely praised book, Traveller’s Health, remains one of the most trusted resources for both clinicians and patients preparing for international travel. It continues to guide doctors, expedition leaders and travellers.
This fellowship reflects not only Dr. Dawood’s long-standing leadership in the field but also the values that shape our clinic every day… thoughtful, expert-led, human-first care.
